Child/Youth Assessment
The process for child/youth testing begins with a parent intake session that lasts for 1 to 1.5 hours. The psychologist will then meet with the student to complete direct testing, which is typically completed over two appointments that last for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Ipads are used for many assessment activities, which is appealing to most children and youth. The process is flexible and adapts to the needs of the student. Breaks are offered throughout testing as needed.
Adult testing is typically completed over two appointments that last between 2 to 3 hours. Clients participate in a clinical interview and standardized tests of intelligence and academic achievement. Breaks are offered throughout testing as needed.
