During this initial free phone consultation, you will have the opportunity to review your concerns and determine if an assessment will meet your needs. If you decide that you would like to proceed with testing, an appointment can be scheduled.
Testing is typically completed over two appointments that last for approximately one hour, depending on the attention span of the client. Testing includes many activities, some of which are like games (e.g., puzzles), some question and answer, and some are more like school (e.g., math, spelling, and reading). Ipads are used for many of the assessment activities, which is appealing to most children and youth. The process is flexible and adapts to the needs of the client. Breaks are offered throughout testing as needed.
Testing is typically completed over two appointments that last between 1.5 and 2 hours. Clients participate in a clinical interview and standardized tests of intelligence and academic achievement. Breaks are offered throughout testing as needed.
